The Tapi Valley Education Society's Faizpur, Dist.: Jalgaon runs this college is one of the premier, largest and oldest education body from Maharashtra. Faizpur is small municipal place, situated between the Satpuda ranges and the Tapi River. Is central place for the two Talukas namely Yawal and Raver. Faizpur is mainaly famous for Banana market.
The first rural conference of the Indian National congress was held in 1936 at this place. On this event Mahatma Gandhi, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and other National personalities were gathered here. In that event Late.Shri Dhanaji Nana Chaudhari (freedom fighter) hosted the event. The memories of these historical events are great sources of inspiration to the people in this area. So under the fore sighted leadership of Loksevak, Shri. Madhukarrao Chaudhari (Ex-Speaker, Maharashtra Assembly) and his colleague thought that here should be an educational institution which would serve as a radiating center of ideas and thoughts that would contribute to the social, cultural and economic upliftof the society. The Tapi valley Education Society was therefore established in 1960. Society has started Institute of Pharmacy (Diploma program) in 1983 with intake capacity of 60 students.
