PROCEDURE FOR ADMISSION
- A consolidated provisional merit list arranging all the applications irrespective of castes or categories in the order of merit shall be prepared and notified. Admitting authority shall exhibit this provisional merit list indicating therein the marks on the basis of which merit list is prepared, on the notice board in such manner that it can be seen by all the candidates aspiring for the admission.
- Any candidate seeking admission to a course covered by these rules shall have a right to raise an objection if he / she has any reason to believe that merit is not given correctly or his / her name is omitted from the merit list.
- The Candidate raising an objection shall lodge a complaint in writing within three day of exhibition of provisional merit list, about his / her objection, stating therein the reason which led him / her to believe that omission and / or merit indicated is improper, with sufficient evidence to support his / her objection. Mere expression of suspicion or doubt shall not be sufficient to warrant any enquiry.
- The admitting authorities shall make enquiries about such complaint on the basis of evidence tendered, and decide whether the objections raised are proved. If the objections are proved, merit of the candidate shall be corrected. After considering the objections and following the procedure mentioned above, a final merit list shall be exhibited. The Admission Centre shall also display a schedule of admission on its Notice Board. Candidates are advised to see the schedule and attend the respective rounds for admission.
- Admissions shall be given on merit as per the final merit list, starting from top of the merit list, with due regulation of admissions as under.
RELITIVE MERIT IN CASE OF EQUAL MARKS
In case of candidates securing equal number of marks, their relative merit for admission to Diploma Course in Pharmacy is as follows.
- A candidate passing qualifying examination with higher grand total shall be given first priority.
- A candidate passing the S.S.C. examination, as specified with higher grand total shall be given second priority.
APPLICATION AND DOCUMENTS REQUIRED
No application will be considered unless it accompanies the attested copies of the following documents
For
..candidates.
- Statement of marks of the qualifying examination.
- School / Institute Leaving (after qualifying examination) Certificate.
- Statement of marks of the S.S.C. (std. X) or equivalent examination.
- Caste Certificate (if the candidate belongs to backward class.
- Creamy Layer Exemption Certificate, Valid for the current year, issued by the concerned Collector/Deputy Collector / Sub Divisional Officer (If the candidate belongs to N2 / NT3 / OBC Category.
Copies of the certificate attached to the application form should be attested by the Head Master / Principal of the School / Institute or a Gazeted Officer or Special Executive Magistrate. original Certificate, if attached, to the application will not be returned. Original Certificate will have to be produced at the time of scrutiny of application prior to admission.
Application for admission will not be considered unless it is-
- Properly and correctly filled in.
- Accompanied by attested copies of the requisite certificate in support of the claim made in the application and
- Received in the office of the proper authority on or before the last date and time prescribed.
- The application or any of the certificates received after the last date prescribed for this purpose shall not be entertained.
- FEES And Concessions
- The feeds for the course will be as fixed by Shikshan Shulka Samittee.
- The admission shall be confirmed only after payment of fees.
CONDUCT AND DISCIPLINE
- Student while studying in any Institute if found indulging in antinational activities contrary to the provision of Acts and Law enforced by Government will be expelled from the Institute without any notice by the Principal.
- If any of the statement made in application form or any information supplied by the candidate in connection with his/ her admission is at any time found to be false or incorrect such candidate will not be considered for admission and if already admitted, his/her admission will be cancelled fees for reited and he/she may expelled from the Institute by the Principal and prosecuted by Government if deemed necessary. An appeal against the order of expulsion, how ever may be preferred within eight day the date of letter of the Director of Technical Education whose decision in such cases will be final.
- Candidates who produce certificate from the Head of the Academic institution in which he /she has under one the Diploma in Pharmacy course, in proof of his/her having regularly and satisfactorily undergone the course of study by attending not less than 75% of the classes held both in theory and in practical separately in each subject shall be eligible for appearing at the diploma in pharmacy examination.
- The candidates on admission shall be governed by rules of the Institute for the students.
