Eligibility For Admission To 1st Yr Phar. Courses
- For admission to the first year diploma course in pharmacy the candidate should have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (Std. XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, or any other examination declared by the said Board to be equivalent there to, with and in
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology or Mathematics and
- English
- Duration of the course:- The duration of the course shall be for two academic years with each academic year spread over a period of not less than one hundred and eighty working days in addition to 750 hours practical training spread over a period of not less than 3 months.
DOMICILE
i)Domicile Certificate is not necessary if the candidate has passed the qualify examination from a recognized institute in Maharashtra and has studied and passed his/ her X, XI, and XII standard examinations from a recognized school / college in Maharashtra.
NATIONALITY
Unless provided in these rules, the candidate must be an Indian national.
AGE LIMIT FOR ADMISSION
There shall not be any age limit for admission.
Candidates passing the qualifying examination from an institution outside Maharashtra State shall be eligible for admission to this institute and that too, after exhausting all application from eligible candidates in Maharashtra State as above.15% Seat are reserved for foreign Nationals / Persons of Indian origin.
RESERVATION
Institution Level Reservation Seats shall be reserved for backward class candidates from Maharashtra State, as per the percentages given below,of the sanctioned intake, course wise, in all the Govt., Non Govt. Aided and Unaided Polytechnics.
